Wildstar XV1600

The wish list for this Wildstar is for improved rideability and performance, pare off some of the factory lard and a spanky new paintjob. The spindly stock handlebars, controls and cabling will be replaced by a set of bespoke 2"" stainless apes with integal controls and switch gear for a clean gobsmacking head on view  The ability to do a quick change from a solo (look at yourself in shop windows) headturner to a purposeful two up touring bagger capable of  transporting even the ubiquitous kitchen sink is also high on the priority list. The rest will unfold as the job progresses.

The Notr'e-dame- esque stock rear end bracketry and lighting coupled with the added clutter of the sissy bar frame, side rails and a no.plate mounted rack plus the throwover saddlebags overwhelm the potential beauty of the rear fender lines......bring in the skip!

Showing the newly installed "FAT" Roadburner 'zorst system, The stock air box has been opened up to breathe more easily and the carb. recalibrated to to complement the upgrade. The air injection circuit has been whizzed for a deceleration "pop" free ride. The bike now takes off like the proverbial scolded cat and all too quickly beats into the 4400rpm factory rev limiter. So I feel another tweak is in the pipeline! Oh yeah, it sounds good too!

Here are the 'kin big handlebars being formed to spec and first-fitted to the bike for the most pleasing loom routes through the milled top yoke. The integral risers and mounts should be spun up in time for Steve's (the owner) viewing this week-end, where, the ergonomics can be fine tuned.
